Are you a young Albertan who is passionate about climate-related issues and want to ensure the province’s approach to environmental management considers the views of Alberta’s youth? If so, consider becoming a member of the Alberta Youth Climate Action Council!

Members of the Council share their ideas and perspectives on issues that matter to their peers, their community and to all Albertans to help government shape future policies. The Council is comprised of up to 12 members representing a diverse group of 18-26 year-old Albertans. The Council provides a forum for youth to directly interact with Environment and Parks Minister, Shannon Phillips.

If you have a strong connection to climate change, the environment, your community and youth issues apply today! Applications to become a member of the 2020 Alberta Youth Climate Action Council are being accepted until the end of the year. Applicants who are selected to participate on the youth council will be notified early in 2020.
