Comments and opinions you provide will be used by AEP for the purpose of informing outdoor recreation planning and to promote outdoor recreation engagements and education resources. Participation on the Outdoor Recreation Channel website is strictly voluntary, and your comments and opinions will not be disclosed for any other purpose than stated without your written consent or unless required by law to do so. AEP does not intend on anonymizing any of the comments provided on the Outdoor Recreation Channel website.   • Here is what we're looking for:

    • A short write-up that provides information about the initiative, the problem it solved, who was involved and how its improving the recreational experience on Crown land.
    •  A maximum of 300 words.
    •  A color photo. Please ensure all people included in the photo consent to its use.

    Your story may be shared through the AEP Blog, Social Media, Outdoor Recreation Stewardship Webpage and the Bow Habitat Station.

  • This interactive map provides the boundaries for Public Land Use Zone (PLUZ) and Public Land Recreation Areas. Here are some of the maps best features: 

    • Click on a PLUZ to see its boundaries highlighted
    • When a PLUZ is selected, you can open the associated regulation websites and map links
    • Use the tile icon to change to satellite imaging or other base layers
    • Use the side panel to turn on and off layers
    • Use this link to open the map in another window or take with you on your mobile device
    • Once your out on the landscape, visit a kiosk (blue icon) to find out more
