Proposed RFMO Survey – Fish Management Zone NB1 (Amisk, Elinor, Ethel, Hilda, Hope, Lac La Biche, Moose, Seibert, Skeleton, Spencer and Tucker Lakes)
We’d like to thank all those who have contributed to the Northern Pike and Walleye fisheries consultation process by visiting the TalkAEP website, completing an online survey, providing your views at the Public Information Sessions, or sending us a letter or email.
The information you have shared is valued and has shaped the updated management frameworks for these fish species and lead to the development of the optional management objectives. In the coming weeks we will be reviewing the consultation input, and reporting back on some of the key things that you told us in both the online and public sessions. Continued updates will be posted here and on the My Wild Alberta Facebook Page.
As we update our management frameworks based on the feedback we heard, we thought we’d share a few of the common questions and themes we heard most recently in the public information sessions and share a few short answers and background.
